Genesis 1:1 is not included in Manchester Hebrew MS 44 (Illustrated Esther Scroll).
This manuscript includes: Incomplete illustrated, unpointed Esther scroll preserving Esther 1:12–10:3 in thirteen circular text panels of 22–24 lines across six parchment membranes. Five detailed photographs and a complete composite each show the surviving text; a rolled-scroll view contains no indexed biblical text. The catalogue says the scroll begins at Esther 2:7, but direct visual review and full-surface HTR establish that the first panel begins at Esther 1:12.
