Genesis 1:1 is not included in London, British Library, Add MS 9399.
This manuscript includes: A Masoretic codex of Isaiah, Ezekiel, the Twelve, Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Esther, Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Daniel, Ezra–Nehemiah, and Chronicles. Psalm 57 is absent; the manuscript numbers 159 psalms by subdividing Psalms 78, 115, 116, 118, and 119. The missing thirty-first quire after fol. 242 removes most of 2 Chronicles 16:5–28:9, and the defective ending breaks within 2 Chronicles 36:12, removing the remainder through 36:23. Only part of fol. 155 survives. Fol. 83r is blank with offset from its opposite side and remains in physical navigation without a biblical assignment. Marginal signs mark haftarah beginnings in the Prophets but do not insert separate biblical readings..
